What we, the Abdullah Brothers, try to live by is: “Want for your brother, what you want for yourself.” We want to live in peace and we want that for our brothers and sisters--at home and around the globe. We thought it was only fitting that we partner with Peace Rocket to bring you the Abdullah Bros Collection and for our first piece to be our “World Peace” tee.
Our “World Peace” tee features the word: PEACE in five different languages. English, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, and American Sign Language.
Peace is what we all covet. We want peace in our life, in our work, in our relationships, in our communities and in our society. It is what we pray for, for individuals who have passed on and it is what we pray others will pray for us, when we have passed on.
Peace was one of the first things Jesus, peace be upon him, spoke of when he said: “Peace was on me the day I was born, and will be on me the day I die and the day I am raised to life again.”*
Peace is what God instructed Moses to go to Pharaoh with. ‘...Go and tell him, “We are your Lord’s messengers, so send the Children of Israel with us and do not oppress them. We have brought you a sign from your Lord. Peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance.”**
Peace was the first thing the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon Him, said when he arrived in his new home: “O People, spread Salaam (the greeting of Peace), offer food to people, and pray at night when people are sleeping, you will enter Paradise in peace.”^
Peace is what Muslims greet each other with and what we say when there is mention of a Prophet of God. Peace is what we begin with and what we end our day with. It is what we pray for and what we will continue to spread as long as we are here. God willing.
Join us in the spreading of PEACE.
Peace and Be Blessed
